Family Favorite Chili (crock pot)
2 lb ground beef 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup) 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 can (15 or 16 oz) kidney or pinto beans, rinsed, drained
In 12-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until brown;drain.
In 3 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker, mix beef and remaining ingredients except beans.
Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours (or High heat setting 3 to 4 hours) or until onion is tender.
Stir in beans. Cover and cook on High heat setting 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Sounds yummy, Stacy. I had a really good chili recipe a long time ago and lost it. I will have to try this one. It sounds a lot like it. I like the crock pot idea too. Thanks for posting.
