Pork and Squash Soup
1 pound pork, either chops or pork steak, cut in small pieces 1 can diced tomatoes 6 or 8 yellow squash, peeled and cut in bite size pieces 1/2 chopped onion Salt anf Pepper to taste 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Spray a 3 or 4 quart saucepan with Pam and brown pork. Stir in tomatoes, add squash and onions. Cover with water just a little over the top of the squash. Add salt and pepper, garlic powder and cumin. Cook until squash is tender. This can be a side dish but we like it as a soup with cornbread muffins.
