Got this from an owner of a brewery. This was served at a pizza place in Wisconsin- 1) boneless chuck roast ( on sale of course) 2) med yellow onion 3) 1 tsp red chili flakes 4) sliced provolone cheese 5) sourdough rolls
Cook the roast in the crock pot with the onion chopped, a little chicken stock as per directions. I usually do 6 hours so it won't dry out much but still shreds with a fork place shredded chuck roast pieces on the bun, top with a piece of the onion, a slice of provolone cheese and bake in the oven till cheese melts. Serve with chips & a cold dill pickle. AND a cold domestic lager like a PBR.
Costs about 10 bucks, makes maybe 8 sandwiches-
